Rachel Durance is a British film and television editor, named by Film4 as one of five emerging female editors to watch. Her credits span films and television, including the features A Kind of Kidnapping and Homebound, La Voix Humaine, the Tribeca-selected short Mars, and the 2024 BBC series A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder.

She collaborated with writer-director Luna Carmoon on her short film Shagbands for Film4, and in 2023 they reunited on Carmoon’s debut feature Hoard, which premiered at the Venice International Film Festival. The film was nominated for a BAFTA and went on to win three awards at Venice Critics Week.

She co-edited the critically acclaimed 2021 BBC series The Pursuit of Love with writer-director Emily Mortimer. Most recently, she completed work on Jay Kelly for Netflix, her second collaboration with Mortimer, who co-wrote the film with director Noah Baumbach.
